OLD MILL AND MILL MEADOW BROXBOURNE

This fishery is based around the site of the old Broxbourne Mill, Mill Lane, Broxbourne. It includes a section of the River Lynch upstream of the old Mill Wheel, The River Lea Navigation cut off through Mill Meadow up to the Mill pool.

Good for Roach, Perch, Chub and Pike with the odd Carp present. Bags of small Roach and Chub can be taken using waggler tactics with bronze maggots. The Mill pool itself is a particularly good winter fishery. Roach shoal tightly at the tail of the pool and large pleasure catches can be taken, with individual fish to over 2lb being recorded

Night Fishing is not permitted

From the A1170 Road or access from Station Road into Mill Lane, drive to the end of the lane and there is the Meadows Car Park

During the Summer months a refreshment van is parked in the meadows serving food and drinks. Toilets nearby.
